King Charlie

Charlie does not have a very sophisticated name but that does not diminish his King status. From the moment he was put in my arms at the Atlanta International Airport to this very day, he is the most laid-back, loving cat I have ever owned. He is a very kind Daddy with his kittens. Charlie received his name from one of our favorite movies, Open Range. Kevin Costner played “Charlie” in this movie.

Charlie’s personality is well-known at our veterinarian’s office, Fayette Vet. He is one of the most laid-back and gorgeous cats they take care of.  Even though they know us by name, they connect us with Charlie. “Oh, you are Charlie’s Mom !!!” Charlie came to us during the first round of the pandemic. I retired and was looking for new purposes in my life. I met a wonderful, knowledgeable breeder in Russia and fell in love with a beautiful kitten she called “Big Bear" or "Bolshoy Medved." He arrived with a passport and his own personal courier. From the very first second I held him, he acted as if he had been raised by me from birth as he never showed any fear or distrust.
